Important Announcement: End of Production at POSTEL Die Casting GmbH

Dear employees, valued suppliers, and esteemed customers,

With regret and heavy hearts, we announce that POSTEL Die Casting GmbH ceased production at the end of February 2023. This decision marks the end of an impressive 98-year corporate history. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all employees, suppliers, and customers for their long-standing loyalty and successful collaboration.

Since its founding in 1925, POSTEL Die Casting has been a pioneer in the production of zinc die casting, contributing significantly to the advancement of this technology. By utilizing our own machines and tools, we have shaped the industry and consistently faced the challenges of the market.

Unfortunately, in recent years, we have experienced several global market crashes and challenging phases that have significantly impacted our viability. Simultaneously, the market for aluminum and zinc die casting is shrinking, with no signs of recovery. Despite a successful restructuring since spring 2020, we could not find a promising option for the company's continuation under the current conditions in Germany.

The decision to close was not an easy one, but it was unavoidable. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your contributions, dedication, and loyalty. The employees of POSTEL Die Casting were the heart of our company, and we are grateful for the years we spent together.
